Pike International Work Day will bring together Epsilon Upsilon Alumni and Active Brothers to begin work on the first phase of the Pike House Grounds and Landscaping Beautification Projects. Construction of a new shed and other needed outdoor tasks will take place the weekend of March 23rd. Pictures to follow. Donations from our Engraved Brick Campaign are funding these activities. Please consider adding your name to an engraved brick. Thank you to the Brothers who have already purchased engraved bricks for themselves and other Brothers they chose to honor. The names of the following Brothers will appear on engraved bricks surrounding the new fire pit.
Once a Pike – Always a Pike
Thank you for your consideration,
support, and generosity.
UPDATE 4-7-2024 - by Matt Hauser
There has been progress on the backyard beautification project as well; Rich and Doreen Petri and Joe Kloecker constructed a base for the new shed and the Actives demolished the old shed and cleared the fire pit area; weather was too cold for resin shed construction that weekend but it won't be long now; we still need more donors for engraved bricks !
Brothers,
Celebrate Gannon Day of Giving is on April 18-19 from 8pm-8pm!
Your gift during Celebrate Gannon Day of Giving will help grow the Pi Kappa Alpha Endowed “Power” Scholarship which is awarded annually to current brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha at Gannon. This is another chance for us to help grow our chapter’s scholarship fund and make it the largest fraternity scholarship on campus!
Please consider making your gift early by clicking the link below.
An anonymous donor will donate up to $30,000 when we reach 500 donors on Celebrate Gannon Day of Giving.
I hope you’ll join me in participating in Celebrate Gannon Day of Giving as we inspire and transform the next generation.

Thank you Rich for the Callout to the Pikes!
Rich is a Desert Storm veteran with an extensive background in mechanical engineering. After his Desert Storm tour with the Marine Corps, Rich joined The Trane Company as a system consultant, responsible for the design, selection, specification and sale of applied HVACR and control systems. From there, he moved on to a large mechanical contracting firm as a project engineer. By 2003, he had risen to Vice President of Construction, where he was responsible for the day-to-day management of a $20 million mechanical engineering and construction division. In 2003, he and partner Fred Kawa started MEC².
Along with a Top Secret clearance from his time in the Marine Corps, Rich holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Gannon University, and a Master’s of Business Administration.
Brother Rich credits his liberal arts education and student experience at Gannon as well as his time spent as a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity for helping to instill in him the importance of leadership.
He has been a member of the Gannon Board of Trustees since 2016.
In recognition of his distinguished career and dedicated service, Gannon is proud to proclaim Richard E. Beattie Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa.

We've been contacted by a person, who ask to remain anonymous, to set up a GOFUND ME page for Nollsie…..
His health is rapidly deteriorating and the medical bills are piling up…
For those who know him he is a great guy who entertained thousands over the years with his music, magic and comedy… He also won the Rhett Butler “look alike“ contest and traveled the country appearing at Gone With Wind celebrations. He has been willing to help so many others and now it’s time to help him when he needs it most…
Nollsie is married to Teri, whom he lovingly refers to as Dolly; they reside in Colorado.
If you wish to drop him a card, he lives at:
